O

n Sunday, June 14, the last Sunday of the program year, we pause to give thanks for the countless offerings of time and effort freely given in service to the many ministries that define us as a body of Christ. To all the teachers, music makers, ushers, scripture readers, gardeners, Deacons; Elders, Marthas, committee members, bus drivers, AV technicians, setter uppers, cleaner uppers; pageant participants, and the many who help with big projects like Fall Fair, our Alternative Christmas shop, and refurbishing our facilities; as well as individual readers, tutors, dinner makers, and food deliverers that come alongside our mission partners with helping hands, thank you! In worship on Sunday morning, we will ask God to bless the offerings of the many gracious servants who comprise this congregation, that they may be nurtured in love and clothed with compassion.
