It is that time again! We are excited to offer our 48th annual Fall Fair and invite the entire community to enjoy it!
The Food Court in the parking lot will feature tasty breakfast and lunch temptations (including our signature Scotch Eggs) for every palate.
Surprising bargains across a wide array of interests can be found in Collectibles, Jewelry & Accessories, Fall Into Fashion, Flea Market Furniture, Children’s Toys & Games, Sporting Goods, and Pumpkins & Mums.
The Children’s Corner welcomes children of varied learning styles and interests to enjoy activities, crafts, and games together.

Sundays, 9-10am through October 18 in the Study.
Adult Education offers an opportunity to deepen your faith, build community, and engage in meaningful conversation with others who are curious about God and the world around us. Beginning Sunday, September 13, and continuing through October 18, this series invites participants to explore a diverse collection of architecture, plays, novels, paintings, films, and musical works, discovering how these masterpieces can enrich both faith and human understanding. Crossing cultures, eras, and artistic genres, each work reveals truths that have shaped the Christian imagination and left a lasting mark on human creativity. Through thoughtful engagement with these masterpieces, we can deepen our appreciation for God’s presence in art and culture while gaining fresh insights into our own faith journeys. No reading or advance preparation is required. Simply come ready to learn, reflect, and be inspired.

Newcomers Gathering (Loeffler Chapel)
To all who are seeking a church home and wondering if SPC may be a good fit: this invitation is for you! Churches are living breathing humans with all their many gifts and foibles. What we do in ministry is the product of these things; every new member adds dimension to our life and work together. Our Membership Committee is pleased to host monthly conversations facilitated by one of our pastors on Sunday mornings where philosophical questions of faith and doctrine are welcomed along with practical questions about the workings of worship, offerings for Christian formation (both for children and adults), and outreach to neighbors, and caring support of one another. This will be followed by a brief tour of church spaces and will wrap up in good time for you to attend 10:15 am worship in the Sanctuary.

Let us bless the animals that bless our lives, and the lives of our neighbors! Everyone can be involved in this service, including reading scripture, a poem, or a prayer. Then we all help bless the animals that come! This event is rain-or-shine, and always a beloved experience. Then, we are going Bowling! Bring a costume to change into (we have prizes this year, so be creative!). We will meet new folks, bowl and eat, and then head back to SPC.

There is a continuing urgent need for donated blood. Through the American Red Cross we are invited to help local hospital patients by donating blood at the Swarthmore Community blood drive. Parking is available in the auxiliary parking lot across the street from the church.
