hildren are back in school, many who have been away during the summer have returned, and newcomers are joining our community. What better time to gather over tasty food and fellowship Everyone is invited to enjoy a picnic lunch following worship. Burgers (including veggie burgers) and hot dogs will be grilled fresh in the Courtyard, and beverages will be provided. Contributions of salads, side dishes, fruit, and desserts will create a delicious spread for everyone to enjoy. Seating will be available in Fellowship Hall, and the adjacent lawn will be open for those who would like to bring lawn chairs or blankets for a more traditional picnic experience. Visiting relatives, families with young children (the playground will be open), college students, neighbors, friends, and other guests are all welcome.

Bring something to share! Prepared dishes may be dropped off in the kitchen beginning at 8:45 am on Sunday morning. Please label your dish, and if possible, include ingredient information for those with allergies or dietary restrictions.

As an Earth Care Congregation, SPC is launching Commercial Compost Pick-Up for the fall Picnic. All organic waste (including meat, dairy, fish, and any biodegradable products) will go directly to our labeled “Compost” bins. Consider this for any packaging!
