Room Rentals

It is our pleasure to open many church spaces to the community. We have several rooms suitable for both large and small gatherings for group study, musical performances, organized discussions, or recreation. For rental information and availability, please contact Parish Administrator, Julia Boerth, at parish@swarthmorepres.org or 610.543.4712.

Fellowship Hall

Fellowship Hall is a large, multipurpose room, offering bench seating against a wall of windows, and opening into our beautiful Courtyard on the other side. Included with rental of this space is access to our attached kitchen, offering a convection oven, stovetop burners, microwave, industrial dish washer, coffee urns, and serving plates and utensils. Tables and chairs are also available. For rentals with a musical purpose, a piano is also available in this space. Fellowship Hall is air conditioned, ensuring that it is comfortable during any season. It is also fully handicap accessible. Room capacity (without tables) is 225 people.

Loeffler Chapel

Loeffler Chapel is available for smaller, more intimate gatherings. This space, created in 1905 as a Sunday school building, features a beautiful stained-glass window, and rich wood architecture, and a Kawai grand piano. This space is also air conditioned and has a direct entrance from the parking lot. The space is handicap accessible, via a longer route. Room capacity is 100 people.

Medium to Small Rooms

There are several small to medium-sized rooms available to rent as well, including classrooms on the second floor of the Braun building (adjacent to McCahan Hall) and the Study on the first floor. We can accommodate groups as large as 50, or as small as 5-10.

Fellowship Hall Kitchen

This large kitchen offers all the amenities of an industrial kitchen, including a large convection oven, stove, microwave oven, good counter space, and an industrial dishwasher. Our cabinets are filled with serving supplies, such as coffee urns, dishes, glasses, and trays, which may be used if arrangements are made at the time of the rental agreement. Limited space is available in the refrigerator and freezer.
