Devotions: The Selected Poems of Mary Oliver / On Sunday evening, June 7, all are invited to a book discussion and labyrinth walk sponsored by the Presbyterian Women (PW) of SPC. We’ll be reading from Devotions: The Selected Poems of Mary Oliver spanning 1963–2015. Mary’s poetry is known for its wonder at the natural world, vivid imagery, and unadorned language. Our conversation will focus on poems that reflect her observations and questions about spirituality. If you’d like to read ahead, contact Harriet Henderson (by clicking on the link below) for a list of selected poems—or come and read them during the gathering. We’ll conclude by walking the labyrinth, with time to reflect or meditate on a poem that is meaningful to you.

The group will meet in the McCabe Section of the Memorial Garden (in the Study if rainy). Please bring a folding chair and comfortable walking shoes. All are welcome. If you have any questions, please contact Harriet Henderson by clicking here.
