s Presbyterians, we are blessed to be part of a denomination that puts a high value on expanding global witness and has a longstanding commitment of working toward peacemaking and reconciliation, especially in cultures of violence. Through the Office of Public Witness in Washington, D.C., there is direct advocacy at the national level. Through the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program, there is challenging work to look at upstream ways for ending gun violence. PCUSA World Mission partners worldwide work daily towards social justice. The World Communion Offering, one of three annual denomination offerings, is an important source of funds for this. It also directly supports SPC efforts. 50% of the funds collected go directly to denominational efforts through Presbyterian Life and Witness.
