od’s providence of longer days, warmer sun, and yes, thunderstorms, provides all the data we need to know that summer is upon us. Many of our families of school-aged children, all who work in academic communities, and most of our pastors, staff and volunteers are looking forward to some vacation time – important days of respite and renewal through which the Spirit blows in a gentler way. Our Sunday schedule, and the rhythms of monthly meetings, will all relax a bit to enable our core ministries to flourish on a leaner schedule as follows:
Sunday Schedule | June 21 – September 6
10:15 am – Worship | in the Sanctuary and via livestream
- Following “A Time with Children,” children age 3 – 5th grade are invited to Godly Play.
- Communion will be served July 5, August 2, and September 6. Children remain in worship to share communion on these Sundays.
- Bus service from care communities continues.
- Infants and toddlers are welcome in Fellowship Hall beginning at 10 am.
11:15 am – Fellowship | in Fellowship Hall and the Courtyard
*On hiatus: 8 am worship in Loeffler Chapel, 9 am Adult Christian Formation classes, afternoon youth gatherings, and adult and children’s choirs.
Regular Sunday programming resumes September 13.

Board & Committee Meetings
Monthly meetings of our Session, Board of Deacons, and most committees are suspended in July and August, and will resume in September. SPC can provide church spaces (or Zoom space) for those that wish to meet at this time.
