ou are invited to join SPC as we participate in the fourth annual Delaware County Pride Parade on Saturday, June 6. Pride is a joyful celebration of dignity, belonging, and connection. As a church, this is a meaningful opportunity to witness to what we believe: that God’s love is deeper, broader, and greater than we can imagine; that each of us is a beloved child of God; and that all are truly welcome at SPC, just as they are. All who wish to walk together under the SPC banner are invited to gather beginning at 10:00 am at Barrel Community Park in Media (corner of Front and Radnor Streets). The parade will begin at 12:00 pm. Whether you are LGBTQ+, an ally, a family member, or simply someone who wants to extend Christ’s welcome, your presence matters. Please feel free to bring friends and family. Colorful attire, encouraging signs, and joyful spirit are all welcome as we embody a faith rooted in compassion and radical hospitality.
