rganized by SPC’s Outreach partner, the Chester Community Coalition, and held in honor of National Gun Violence Awareness Month, the 2026 Wear Orange Peace Walk & Block Party will take place on Saturday, June 6, concluding at Chester’s MLK Park. This is an opportunity to stand with our neighboring communities and to witness together for an end to gun violence. The walk begins at 10:00 am, departing from the intersection of 9th and Kerlin St., with activities continuing through 2:00 pm, including BBQ, live music, and raffle prizes. The Chester Community Coalition’s mission is to provide trauma-informed support services to families directly affected by gun violence in Chester, PA, and throughout Delaware County.
