Session 2 – Compassion to the Neighbor
You made it to the second session of SPC’s Compassion Camp!
Whether you are joining us during our second week, or you just heard about it a few weeks later, know that you can join us for Compassion Camp at your own pace from your own homes! Below you’ll find the guided videos for our second session of Compassion Camp.
Session 2 – Gather and Music
Welcome to Compassion Camp! Our first video for this session is our Gather and Music video. Join us as we hear about Compassion to the Neighbor through story and song!
Session 2 – Movement
Our fourth video for this session is our Movement piece, led by Olivia & Julia LaFrance! They will leading us through a breath/yoga sequence that connects our bodies to compassion’s gift of bravery!
Session 2 – Bible Story.
Our second video for this session is our Bible Story! What are you hearing of how compassion helps us be brave in our story today? Make sure to have the Imagining and Coloring page with you for this video!
Session 2 – Create & Play
Our third video for this session is our Create & Play led by Marie & Megan Lowry! Marie and Megan will be thinking with us on how we can be brave today! You are then encouraged to either send a Kindness Hug or draw out a comic strip story of how we are brave.
Session 2 – Compassion in Action
Our fifth video for this session is our Compassion in Action led by Claire Lowry! Claire will be leading us in a craft activity that will serve as a reminder of how we can be compassionate to our neighbor.
