The Women’s Compline Choir on the 13th Sun. after Pentecost | Aug. 18, 2024 | Saint Mark’s, Seattle – You are invited to listen to a portion from a Compline service as recorded at St Mark’s Episcopal Church in Seattle, WA, and let the music pray through you. Compline is a service of prayer and reflection that takes place at the end of the day. The idea is to prepare the soul and mind for sleep, to move from work to rest, as you end your Sunday and prepare for the week ahead.

Adoremus in aeternum Sanctissimum Sacramentum.
Lauda te Dominum, omnes gentes,
Laudate Eum, omnes populi. Quoniam confirmata est super nos misericordia ejus,
Et veritas Domini manet in aeternum.
Gloria Patri, Gloria Filio, Gloria Spiritui Sancto,
Sicut erat in principio, et nunc et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

Let us worship forever the most holy Sacrament.
Praise the Lord, all ye nations:
Praise Him, all ye people. For His mercy is confirmed upon us:
and the truth of the Lord remains for ever.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
