elp is needed to organize the library at the Frederick Douglass Christian School! Longtime Outreach partner, the Frederick Douglass Christian School in Chester has a lively library program due to the deep commitment of this congregation. Several years ago, in recognition of MLK Day a sizable number of volunteers showed up to help organize the library so that students and teachers could find what they needed. That effort for organization is needed again. The task is to remove books that are not appropriate for Pre K3 – 2nd grade readers, box these, and move them to a storage area while a new home is being identified. The main skill needed for volunteers who are interested is knowledge of what might be appropriate for this age range, or willingness to learn quickly.
