Camp Johnsonburg: Night Owl

Middle School Youth (Grades 6 – 8)
Sunday, July 14 – Friday, July 19, 2024
Location: 822 Route 519, Johnsonburg, NJ 07825
Website: campjburg.org

Middle School Night Owl: Enjoy God’s creation in the dark – with stargazing, worshiping around a campfire, glow in the dark night games, and much more! Campers will get to stay up later and sleep in later, as we adopt a schedule for the week that some teens just wish the whole world ran on. Experience your favorite activities during the day and by the light of the moon – as well as Night Owl only activities that no other camp session gets to do. Don’t howl… just register!

Camp Highlights

  • Variety of after dark fun, including night zipping, night hikes, special cookout snacks, and a lot more
  • Johnsonburg’s small group camping model helps campers establish relationships and make new friends
  • Kids just need to be kids. Our program has plenty of supervised unstructured time to play, laugh, chat, write, sing, or relax

Montreat Youth Conference

High school Youth
Saturday, July 6 – Saturday, July 13, 2024
Location: 318 Georgia Terrace, Montreat, NC 28757
Website: montreat.org

Montreat Youth Conference affirms youth in their calling to be and to shape the church of Jesus Christ. The Conference’s desire is to help youth come to know and believe that they are the beloved of God and to be a place where authenticity, community, connection, and God’s truth thrive. The conference seeks to be an inclusive space where each voice can be heard and where each heart can be molded; where change is invited, challenges are expected, and where all are embraced.

This summer, we will build an accepting community of unconditional love where every story matters. Through engaging worship, lively music, practices of gratitude and fun, we will offer youth different opportunities to cultivate their spiritual faith journeys and practice sabbath. We will provide a secure space that is loving, holy, and authentic so that we may glorify God in all that we do, inspiring and equipping a lifetime of faith.

Youth leave Montreat knowing that:

  • Their faith matters
  • They are loved as they are
  • They are part of a community of faith
