ook at this excellent Eagle Scout Project wrapping up! Many thanks to BSA Troop 112’s Nolen Spivey, Swarthmore Presbyterian Church’s Nursery Day School playground is home to two new play structures, a cool water run toy, a sunscreen over the sandbox, and some perfectly kid-sized picnic tables. It is a joy to get to work with our church’s Scout Troop, and such a gift to our congregation. There are so many Eagle Scout projects around, from our native plant pollinator patch out by the church’s sign on Harvard Ave, to the hallway that leads to our Godly Play room that has now been transformed into a giant liturgical calendar (thanks to some fresh paint) and now these safe, delightful additions to our playground. – Rev.
