oin Adult Education this Sunday, April 28 at 9:00 am, as we learn about and explore Paul Winter’s Earth Mass, or “Missa Gaia,” ahead of our choir’s concert on Sunday, April 28 at 4:00 pm. Missa Gaia was composed as an “ecological and ecumenical” mass in celebration of the earth. The piece follows the traditional movement structure of a mass while incorporating eclectic sounds from our world into its tapestry, like the howl of a wolf, the song of a whale, and African and Latin rhythms.
