n connection to our work to get up and running First Place Swarthmore, the refugee housing initiative of this congregation, the Adult Formation Committee is hosting Cathryn Miller-Wilson, Executive Director of HIAS PA on Sunday, April 24 at 4 PM. Miller-Wilson will speak with us about the history of HIAS PA as well as current events shaping their work of refugee resettlement in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know HIAS, with whom we are working closely in the development of First Place Swarthmore. There will also be plenty of time for questions as well as learning about how you can get involved as we build up this ministry of hospitality to our global neighbors right here in Swarthmore.

Light refreshments will be served, and you are encouraged to bring a friend! The event is open to the whole community.
