he Interfaith Council of Southern Delaware County is one of the sponsors of a forum hosted by Council member, Congregation Ohev Shalom, entitled, Reducing Gun Violence Through Red Flag Laws and Universal Background Checks. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 17 from 7 – 8:30 pm and is open to the whole community. The focus of the conversation is on gun safety legislation in Pennsylvania. Presenters include local state representatives, the Delaware County District Attorney and Chief of the Nether Providence Police Department.
