(in the Study)

The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World / On Sunday evening, February 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, all are invited to join a reading circle sponsored by the Presbyterian Women (PW) of SPC. This one-time event will feature Robin Wall Kimmerer’s The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World, a short meditation on how the characteristics of the serviceberry tree can teach us about generosity. Kimmerer’s deep scientific knowledge of plants merges with an earth-based spirituality to create a compelling ethic for how to live in the world. After all, as Kimmerer writes in Braiding Sweetgrass, “All flourishing is mutual.” The reading circle will begin with a light potluck supper. Please email Lauren McKinney to sign up by clicking here. All are welcome!
