› Introducing the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County

SPC’s Presbyterian Women (PW) are pleased to introduce the newest agency under their wing whose mission it is to support victims of abuse: the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County (DAP). DAP is a local agency whose mission is to prevent domestic violence and empower victims to move towards self-sufficiency. This is accomplished through their 24-hour hotline and emergency shelter, counseling, and legal and advocacy services. Along with providing these services, DAP operates Nana’s Attic Thrift Store in Lawrence Park Shopping Center. Proceeds from Nana’s Attic’s sales allow DAP to provide their services free of charge. The funding provided by Nana’s Attic is especially critical now as clients face increased living costs and the agency faces increased staffing costs due to inflation and low unemployment.
