H.O.E. (Holy Order of Environmentalists) is Seeking Volunteers
Thursdays, beginning March 27 @ 9:30 am (in the Memorial Garden)
alling all gardeners, experienced or learning. H.O.E. (Holy Order of Environmentalists) gathers weekly on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am to weed and prune and plant the Memorial Garden, the sacred ground where members can choose to inter their ashes and add their names to the memorial wall, or to simply come for a quiet moment to remember loved ones. It is the home of our labyrinth as well. This volunteer time is an opportunity to care for a special garden space, and a time to remember those who have passed into God’s care. If you are free to join us on Thursday mornings, we would welcome you to our crew with open arms. If you would like to help with the effort but at a time that better fits your schedule, we can talk with you about that as well. Please call either Paddy Deisroth (215-694-5540) or Lynn Gee (610-715-1541) if you are interested in this opportunity. Gardening season opens for H.O.E on Thursday, March 27. Sharpen your pruners, and we provide all the other needed tools. We look forward to hearing from you!
