› PCUSA Christmas Joy Offering
Dedicated in Worship Sunday, Dec. 22
he Christmas Joy Offering has been a cherished Presbyterian tradition since the 1930s. The Offering distributes gifts equally to the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions and to Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color. The Assistance Program provides critical financial support to church workers and their families. Presbyterian-related schools and colleges provide education and leadership development while nurturing racial and ethnic heritage, a Presbyterian commitment for nearly 140 years. Contributions are welcome in the usual ways:
- Mail a check made payable to Swarthmore Presbyterian Church with “Christmas Joy” indicated on the memo line.
- Donate via credit card using our online payment portal.
- Bring cash or check with you to worship; there are special offering envelopes for this purpose in the pews and outside of Loeffler Chapel.
This is a tax-deductible donation; if sent through SPC, it will appear on your year-end contribution statement.
