› PCUSA Christmas Joy Offering

Dedicated in Worship Sunday, Dec. 17

T

he Christmas Joy Offering has been a cherished Presbyterian tradition since the 1930s. The Offering distributes gifts equally to the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions and to Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color. The Assistance Program provides critical financial support to church workers and their families. Presbyterian-related schools and colleges provide education and leadership development while nurturing racial and ethnic heritage, a Presbyterian commitment for nearly 140 years. To see and hear from some of those impacted by our gifts, click here.

Contributions are welcome in the usual ways:

  1. Mail a check made payable to Swarthmore Presbyterian Church with “Christmas Joy” indicated on the memo line.
  2. Donate via credit card using our online payment portal.
  3. Bring cash or check with you to worship; there are special offering envelopes for this purpose in the pews and outside of Loeffler Chapel.

This is a tax-deductible donation; if sent through SPC, it will appear on your year-end contribution statement.
