Christmas Eve Pageant Of The Nativity
4:00 pm in the Sanctuary and via livestream
Children, teens, and adults invite us to draw near to the mystery of Christmas through the sharing of an original Christmas drama written especially for SPC. All is woven together with familiar scriptures and hymns read and sung by voices of many ages.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Services
7:00 & 10:00 pm in the Sanctuary

“No ear may hear his coming, but in this world of sin, where meek souls will receive him, still the dear Christ enters in.”
– from “O Little Town of Bethlehem,”  by Phillip Brooks, 1868

On Christmas Eve we proclaim with joy the story of Christ’s birth with scripture readings, story-telling hymns and carols, and candlelight. Music is led by a Christmas choir that welcomes singers of all generations. Interspersed with the scriptures that foretell and provide narrative to Christ’s birth are hymns and carols. The church is aglow with the “passing of the light” as we sing Silent Night.
