A

group of openhearted, curious parents are gathering this Fall to identify what matters most to them, explore how to put that into practice through parenting, and to encourage one another. Our gatherings will be organized around a book discussion on Sunday afternoons from 4:00 – 5:00 pm, beginning on October 27. Join us for an inspiring exploration of parenting as we begin by diving into Woven: Nurturing a Faith Your Kid Doesn’t Have to Heal From by Meredith Miller. In her book, Meredith Miller invites us to reconsider the way we nurture spirituality in our children: rather than focusing on obedience and rigid rules, Woven invites us to help our children build a relationship with God based on trust, love, and space for personal growth. Future books (not limited to the topic of Spirituality) will be explored and determined by the group.

Why Join the Parenting Book Club?

  • Explore parenting that helps kids develop a spirituality that they will not need to heal from later.
  • Discover how to foster trust in God, with room for questions and new insights.
  • Embody a faith that is flexible, resilient, and rich with meaning.
  • Connect with other parents on this journey of nurturing lasting spiritual growth in your family.

Important Notes:

Books are your responsibility (purchase or borrow ahead of time). We are sorry we cannot provide childcare, however, let us know if you would like to explore group childcare options with one another. Light snacks will be provided and shared. We hope to see you there as we dive deep into this conversation. Bring your questions, your curiosity, and your desire to build a faith your child does not have to heal from!
