warthmore Presbyterian Nursery Day School (SPNDS) is delighted to invite churchgoers to enjoy the colorful and imaginative artwork created by preschoolers who so fully embrace the SPNDS motto, “Learning Joy.” Five days a week the classrooms in the Braun building and Loeffler’s lower level are filled with the energy and imagination of young hearts, minds, hands, and feet as they read, play, build things, ask questions, make music, and ask even more questions. For the last 8 months they also have enjoyed developing and using their small motor skills, as they learn about the many possibilities of creating with different types of media. This opportunity to express themselves, through painting, drawing, printing and sculpting is ready to be shared with the community during the annual Art Show. On the evening of Thursday, May 15, the art show has its opening event for parents. Fellowship Hall will be filled exclusively with the colorful creations of 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-, and 6-year-olds. The art show will be up through the weekend and parents, friends, grandparents, babysitters, and all who love children are invited to enjoy these exhibits on Sunday morning, May 18 in Fellowship Hall.
