› Swarthmore Presbyterian Church is Pleased to Host the College of Wooster Chorus

Thursday, March 22
7:00 pm

Fellowship Hall

Please mark your calendars for the final spring tour performance of this amazing choral group, on Thursday, March 22, at 7:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to hear teens making music as choral ensemble. They will present “Let My Love Be Heard” – an eclectic program of choral music that examines love through a personal and communal lens. Featuring the music of contemporary composers, the program includes the much-beloved Best of All Possible Worlds from Leonard Bernstein’s Candide, Nimrod from Elgar’s Enigma Variations, as well as the title selection by Jake Runestad. The entire program is just over an hour in length. The performance is free and open to the public but there will be a free will offering to help defray the costs of the tour.

We are also seeking volunteers to help with various hosting efforts – from housing students overnight the night of the concert to providing the hospitality of welcome and kitchen support for the meal they will have in Fellowship Hall before the concert to service as a greeter/usher for the concert. Will McCullough, an SPC’er and son of one of our Chancel Choir members, is among the chorus members and Doug (Will’s father) has graciously volunteered to serve as coordinator for these efforts and created a Signup Genius to simplify the process.
