ach Sunday in Advent we reflect on what it means to a people of God who becomes flesh and dwells among us. Especially in this year, the presence of God in our world wrought by isolation, grief, and separation is something to which we cling as a people of faith. We begin our worship invoking the light of Christ, each week led by new members of our congregation lighting Advent candles—beginning with Hope and adding one each Sunday (Peace, Joy, Love). As the light grows, we draw nearer to Christ, Immanuel, Light of Life, Hope of the World to Come.
