t is a delight this evening to welcome Mark Wallace, local author and Professor in the Department of Religion at Swarthmore College. Mark will give a youth-friendly presentation on his newly published book about God in nature, “When God was a Bird: Christianity, Animism, and the Re-enchantment of the World.” His reference in the title to the Holy Spirit as a dove is a compelling starting point for our youth and adults, as many of us take God’s revelation in nature to be the most immediate in our lives… Adults are invited to continue the conversation at The Broad Table Tavern from 7:45 – 8:30 pm.
