Parking is available on Harvard Avenue and in the parking lot behind the church.

Driving Directions:

From Philadelphia via I-95:

  • I-95 South to I-476 (Blue Route). I-476 to Exit 3 (Baltimore Pike, Media, Swarthmore). Turn right onto Baltimore Pike at end of ramp. Then follow directions under “Via Baltimore Pike” below.

​From North or South Via I-476 (the “Blue Route”):

  • From I-476 (Blue Route) take Exit 3 (Baltimore Pike, Media, Swarthmore) and follow signs to Swarthmore at end of exit ramp. Then follow directions under “Via Baltimore Pike” below.

Via Baltimore Pike:

  • At intersection of Baltimore Pike and SR 320 (Springfield Mall, Lukoil station, and a stop light) turn south onto 320 South.
  • At the first light follow 320 South by turning right.
  • Follow 320 South past Swarthmore College and under railroad tracks.
  • At next cross street (Harvard Avenue), turn right; there is a small sign at the corner which says “Swarthmore Presbyterian Church.”
  • The church is the third building on the right. Entrance to the parking lot is the first driveway on the right. Parking is behind the church.

By Public Transportation:

  • We are a 5-minute walk from the Swarthmore stop of SEPTA Regional Rail Media/Elwyn line.
  • The SEPTA Route 109 bus runs along Chester Road and will stop at Harvard Avenue, between the Swarthmore Rail Station and Providence Road/22nd Street stops.
  • You may also use the SEPTA Route 101 Trolley, which stops at Springfield Mall.
  • From Center City Philadelphia, take the Market-Frankford Line Westbound to 69th Street Terminal and transfer to the Route 101 trolley or the Route 109 Bus.

    Swarthmore Presbyterian Church welcomes AA participants to weekly meetings in McCahan Hall. Entrance is via a door on the west end of the parking lot (across from the ABC House) under a covered walkway there.
    For those who are fully vaccinated against COVID, masks are optional. For those not yet fully vaccinated, or working with children, masks are required. Seating/distancing is at the comfort level of the individuals attending.

    Lord's Day Worship (Sanctuary and Livestream)

    SPC's Lord’s Day services embody a classic reformed worship tradition. The Word is proclaimed through liturgy, song, and preaching. Scriptures are generally read by lay liturgists. Music leadership is anchored by our choir. Our pastors share leadership and preaching responsibilities from week to week. Communion is offered on the 1st Sunday of each month.

    Services are livestreamed via YouTube beginning at 10:15 a.m. Sunday morning.

    Our Parish Life team provides beverages and snacks every Sunday following the 10:15 worship service and invites everyone to enjoy one another's company in Fellowship Hall. Please make a point of saying hello to someone you don't yet know!
