ooking to meet new people, build relationships across differences, and experience community in a meaningful, low‑pressure way? This spring, members of Temple Sholom and Swarthmore Presbyterian Church are launching a Beloved Community Exchange—an opportunity to connect through simple human interaction: visiting one another’s spaces, sharing stories, and getting to know the people behind our traditions.
You’re Invited to Join Us
This isn’t Judaism 101 or Christianity 101. Instead, it’s about relationships, curiosity, and exploring what community and spirituality mean in practice (as it applies to your life).
- March 29: Help us host Temple Sholom members for Sunday worship and a gathering afterward
- April 24: Join us as we visit Temple Sholom for Shabbat and dinner
Preparation Meetings for Participants
These gatherings help participants get to know one another, talk through expectations, surface questions, and prepare to be thoughtful, grounded guests and hosts. Dates and times are listed below.
- Sunday, March 22, 6:30 – 8:00 pm: Preparation for hosting Temple Sholom
- Sunday, April 19, 6:30 – 8:00 pm: Preparation for visiting Temple Sholom
