henever the SPC congregation gathers to worship, music plays a central part in that gathering. Listening to music moves us to pray more deeply. Singing binds us together as the body of Christ. Our music groups seek to inspire and deepen the prayer life of all who gather to worship and encourage the congregation to sing to God with their whole selves.
God gifted the world with grace, and we respond to God’s grace with grateful worship. All that we have, all that we are, all that we hope to be, we give to you. Hearing you sing this refrain as a congregation in grateful response to our time of offering during worship inspires me to pray more deeply every week. It reminds me that this is a generous congregation that seeks to be the body of Christ, here and now, ready to serve.
Thank you for singing with your whole self as we worship God. Thank you for giving back to God the very breath through your singing that God gifted to us first.
