Actually, this is just a webpage (although a pretty sweet one). The youth group is people – the youth and adults of Swarthmore Presbyertian Church and their friends. We get together – usually on Sunday afternoons and evenings – to hang out, eat together, grow in our faith, serve others, get away from the world, rest, play games, and worship the God who makes all this possible in the first place. We have a great group of youth, including middle schoolers (6th-8th grade) and high schoolers (9th-12th grade), who try to love and accept each other for who we are. But the group is never full. There is always room for a few more, and you are always welcome here. SPC’s youth group doesn’t turn folks away. We also have a solid collection of adult advisors who spend time with us, facilitate discussion, drive places, play the games with us, and generally keep things together.
You can read more about what each group does on their own pages, as well as see our advisors. The scrolling photos show some of the kinds of stuff we’re up to. Also, you’ll notice some of our programs and activities that aren’t just on Sunday evenings, including summer trips and educational opportunities.
To get involved, or for questions or concerns, please contact the youth group leader, the Rev. John Weicher, at 610-543-4712 x119 or john.weicher@swarthmorepres.org.
