Youth Room

A church building should feel like a safe and comfortable place, maybe even a second home sometimes. Part of that is having your own space, and there’s a place in the church building that’s just for you – the youth of Swarthmore Pres. Because we are so creative, it’s called the Youth Room. It’s upstairs in McCahan Hall. To get there, go through the main room of McCahan Hall and head through the double doors opposite the children’s church school rooms ().

The Youth Room is where the high school youth group will often gather, as well as the Youth Committee. It’s a place to hang out at church when you don’t have another place to be. (But not during worship, because that’s a very good place to be!) We’re still furnishing it and making it our own, complete with some games to play and comfy couches.
