Have fun!!!  In addition to the keynotes, small groups and workshops, there are lots of fun and interesting ways to play.  And of course, we grow in faith as we listen for God in our lives.   Caroline Sisson, who attended Massanetta in 2011, reflected on the trip for our newsletter words every bit as colorful as our pictures:  
"Massanetta Springs Middle School Conference was four days long, but it felt like a month of activities!  The bus ride – to Massanetta Springs, Virginia - is about five hours long.  The bus was so loud that you could barely hear yourself talking.  As soon as we got there, the fun began.   One of the best parts of Massanetta was the encounter groups. These groups were led by enablers, each of them a high school youth.  Each group included other middle school youth and two or three adults.  Massanetta also has a worship service geared toward middle school youth that involves energizers and fun music.  We also participated in four workshops.  Recreation events were high energy and filled with fun activities.  On the last night, there was a dance for the whole conference.  The dance was followed by a calm service, which was very quiet and emotional.  The next morning, we said good-bye to our encounter group friends, had communion, and boarded the bus to go home."
